About WorthCodes

What WorthCodes is, who it is for, how we verify codes, and how it makes money.

What this is

WorthCodes tracks working promo codes for the software tools people actually pay for — starting with ecommerce and AI tools. Every code carries its own evidence: when we checked it, where it came from, and whether it still works.

Why we built it

Because the standard coupon experience is broken. You search for a discount, land on a page full of "100% WORKING!" badges, try four dead codes, and give up. We think the fix is not more codes — it's fewer, honest ones, with the receipts attached.

Who it's for

Anyone about to pay for a software subscription who wants to know, in ten seconds: is there a code, does it actually work right now, and how much does it really save on the plan I need.

How we verify codes

Most coupon sites stamp every code "verified" and leave you to guess at checkout. We do the opposite: every code on WorthCodes carries its own evidence — when it was last checked, how, and what happened.

What each status means

  • Verified — We entered the code at a real checkout on the stated date and confirmed the discount applied.
  • Community confirmed — A shopper reported the code working on the stated date. We have not re-tested it ourselves yet.
  • Unverified — The code comes from a merchant feed or public announcement, but we have not tested it at checkout. We say so instead of guessing.
  • Expired — The offer passed its end date. We keep these visible in a collapsed section so you can see we maintain the page.
  • Reported dead — Shoppers report the code no longer works. It moves out of the main list immediately.

How often we re-check

  • High-traffic stores: every 7 days.
  • Other stores: every 2–4 weeks.
  • Anything we have not checked in over 45 days is flagged on the page — old success should not masquerade as a current signal.

How codes get sourced

We collect codes from merchant feeds, official announcements, and shopper submissions. Codes found on other coupon sites may be a starting point for research, but nothing gets published on WorthCodes until we have verified it ourselves or labeled it with its true source and status.

When nothing works, we say so

Some stores rarely release codes. On those pages you will see the store's pattern and an honest "nothing current looks promising" note instead of a wall of dead codes. You save time; we keep your trust.

How we make money

WorthCodes is free to use. We may earn a commission when you buy through some links on the site. That never changes the price you pay, and it never changes what we claim about a code — a dead code gets marked dead whether or not it earns us anything. Full details in our Affiliate Disclosure.
